WHO WE ARE

We are a family of high school biology teachers who are passionate about animals and teaching.  We put those two loves together and started Reptiles By Rick.  As full-time biology teachers and an amateur herpetologist, we specialize in sharing our love for animals at birthday parties, camps, school programs or any other event.  With our own kids sometimes helping, this is truly a family business!

OUR PROGRAMS

Our presentations are 45 minutes to an hour long, featuring hands-on and interactive experiences.  Your guests are invited to touch and hold some of the exotic animals we bring to your event.  All the animals used are safe and tame and have been handled by my own family and students for years.  We customize our programs for any age group and interest level.  We welcome questions from all and encourage pictures to be taken.  Working with children and animals can sometimes be a challenge, so we have developed a set of guidelines that will make the event safe and enjoyable for all.  Please read the Reptiles By Rick Guidelines so that you know what to expect and help us balance the needs of our animals with the safety of your guests.

HOURS

Because we are full-time teachers, our available times are usually weekday evenings or any time on weekends.  However, there may be exceptions so please contact us with a date and time.
